Why Nye?

I’m Scott Nye, founder of NyePro, with a background rooted in technical curiosity and a hands-on approach to solving problems creatively. I’ve spent the past decade working for and alongside major vendors across audio, lighting, and video in just about every kind of venue—from theaters and ballrooms to festival grounds and stadiums.

This work has always drawn me in because of its combination of structure and unpredictability. Every event brings its own set of challenges, and I’ve learned how to listen carefully, adapt quickly, and find solutions that make sense—both technically and practically.

NyePro grew out of a simple goal: to support great events by bringing thoughtful planning, reliable systems, and steady leadership to the table. Whether I’m behind the board or walking the site, I take pride in balancing the micro and macro—anticipating challenges before they surface. I’m always looking for smarter, more efficient ways to get things done, while staying adaptable and keeping a close eye on the details.

I prefer to lead from the front, surrounded by a team of skilled and trusted technicians working together to bring a show to life. Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with countless professionals I can call on for whatever a project might need. Clients come to me for clarity and consistency, but also for access to the kind of crew that can bring big ideas to life, reliably and without drama.
